D E E D I, the undersigned, DA?TII;L BEST (a widower), of the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda., State of California, for and in consideration of the sum of SIX F.MTDF,ED EIGTHST- 'I't'70 AND 94/100 DOLLAES ($ 682.94) - the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Do hereby grant unto the CITY OF SAIT LFAZTDRO, a municipal corporation, for street purposes, All that certain real property situate in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda. State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit:- BEGINZTING at the point of intersection of the original Southwesterly line of East Fourteenth Street (formerly called the Oakland and San Leandro Road and also called the County Road from Oakland to San Leandro) with the Northwesterly line of Peralta Avenue, and running thence northwesterly along said line of East Fourteenth Street 320.23 feet, more or less, to the dividing line between the land of Daniel Best and the land now or formerly be- longing to .rarrr I. Peachy, and running thence Southwesterly along the Southeasterly boundary line of the land now or formerly be- longing to Mary I. Peachy and the land of C. L. Best to a point thereon distant 19 feet (measured at right angles) Southwesterly from said line of East Fourteenth Street; thence Southeasterly and parallel to said line of East Fourteenth Street 320.27 feet, more or less, to the Northwesterly line of Peralta Avenue; and thence 17jortheasterly along said line of Peralta Avenue 19 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
