And Whereas, Mr. Henry Root accompanied his communication <br />with a Deed duly executed by him to the City of San Leandro, a <br />municipal corporation, covering Lots 44, 45 and 46 of "San <br />Antonio Court". in accordance with his communication; and <br />Whereas, it appears to this Board of Trustees that it will <br />be to the advantage and best interest of the City of San Leandro <br />to accept the proposition of Mr. Henry Root as embodied in his <br />communication hereinbefore set forth and in accordance with the <br />terms therewith, and to convey to 14r. Henry Root the parcel of <br />land requested in his communication; now, therefore be it <br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of San <br />Leandro that the proposition of Mr. Henry Root as embodied in his <br />communication of March _L4_9 1920, be and the same is hereby <br />accepted; be it further <br />RESOLVED, that the Deed of said Henry Root hereinbef ore re- <br />ferred to be and the same is hereby accepted, in accordance d;ith <br />the terms and conditions therein and in said communication con- <br />tained; and be it further <br />RESOLVED, that the President and the Clerk of this Board <br />of Trustees be and they are hereby authorized and instructed to <br />convey to said Henry Root, by good and sufficient Deed, the <br />follo,�rirg described real property situate in the City of San <br />Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, to-wit:- <br />COMP,QENCING at the point of intersection of the South- <br />westerly line of East 14th Street, as now widened, with <br />the Eastern boundary line of "San Antonio Court", all as <br />shown on a map thereof filed August 9th, 1913, in Book 28 <br />of Maps, page 38, Alameda County Records; and running <br />thence along; said Eastern boundary line of said "San <br />Antonio Court" South 5° 13' 20" East Seventy-one and <br />27/100 (71.27) feet to the intersection of said Eastern <br />boundary line of "San Antonio Court" with the dividing <br />line between Lot 46 and Lot 47 of said "San Antonio Court"; <br />running; thence along said dividing line produced North 590 <br />04' 40" East to its intersection with the Southwesterly <br />line of East 14th Street, as now widened; and running <br />thence Northwesterly along said line of East 14th Street <br />to the point of commencement. <br />and to sign, execute and deliver said Deed as the act of and under <br />the corporate name and seal of said City of San Leandro, a munici- <br />pal corporation. <br />-2- <br />
