THIS INDE.17fURE7 made this 1,a day of , <br />1941, between CENTRAL PACIFIC RkIL-,`TAY COMPANY, a corporation, and its <br />Lessee, SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, a corporation, first parties, and <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />second party, <br />VI=SSETH: <br />That said first parties, for and in consideration of the sum <br />of Ten (10) Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America, to <br />them paid by the said second party, the receipt whereof is hereby ac- <br />knowledged, do by these presents remise, release and forever quitclaim <br />unto the said second party, and to its successors and assigns, all those <br />certain lots, pieces or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the <br />City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, described <br />as follows; <br />Parcel No. 1: <br />Lot No. 2 of Block No. 21, as said Lot and Block <br />are laid down and delineated upon that certain map <br />entitled "Map of Broadmoor, Alameda County" filed <br />January 30t2i, 1908 in the office of the County Recorder <br />of Alameda County, containing an area of 42285 square <br />feet, more or less. <br />Parcel No. 2: <br />COMTOENCING at a point on the southwesterly line <br />of Lot No. 3 Block No. 21, of said Map of Broadmoor, <br />distant thereon South 31014' East 57.75 feet from the <br />northwest corner of said Lot No. 3; thence South 31014' <br />East along said southwesterly line of Lot No. 3, fifty- <br />five feet; thence North 58°55' East 35 feet; thence <br />North 31014' Vilest 55 feet; thence South 58055' West <br />35 feet to the point of commencement, containing an <br />area of 1925 square feet, more or less. <br />Being a portion of Lot No. 3 of Block Numbered 212 <br />as said Lot and Block are laid down and delineated upon <br />said map of Broadmoor. <br />TOGETHER with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments <br />and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and <br />the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues <br />and profits thereof. <br />TO HAVE 10)D TO HOLD all and singular the said premises, to- <br />gether with the appurtenances, unto the said second party, and to its <br />- 1 - <br />
