SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />NOTICE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY <br />DISPOSITION AND <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) <br />NOTICE ISSUED: September 22, 2003 SUBMITTAL DEADLINE: November 7. 2003 <br />The San Leandro Redevelopment Agency owns property on Davis Street in San Leandro that is <br />available for sale. The properties are at 1040 Davis Street (includes 1016, 1040, 1048, and 1052 <br />Davis, which will be sold together) and 1103 Davis Street. The properties will be sold separately <br />although interested parties may choose to submit proposals for both. Information in this <br />Notice/RFP is applicable to both unless otherwise indicated. <br />The RFP process is intended to identify individuals/firms who are qualified to undertake <br />development projects which best match the City and Agency's established goals for the sites, as <br />adopted in the Plaza Redevelopment Plan, Zoning Code, and General Plan. Selected <br />individuals/firms may be interviewed with the intent of selecting a preferred developer for each <br />site, with whom to negotiate a Disposition and Development Agreement for Agency Board <br />approval in early 2004.
