I IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 014 RDA (D - 211 / 14 8 5 ) A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO CONVEY PROPERTY AND TO DELIVER PROCEEDS FROM FUTURE DISPOSITION WITH THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR 1016 DAVIS STREET AND 1040 DAVIS STREET (APNS: 075-0148-005-00 AND 075-0148-006-01) RECITALS WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro ("Agency") is a redevelopment agency existing pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law, California Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq., and pursuant to its authority under California law, Agency has the responsibility to carry out the Redevelopment Plan for the Plaza Redevelopment Project Area, as amended ("Redevelopment Plan"); and WHEREAS, the Property is located in an area governed by the Redevelopment Plan, and under Section 33220(a) of the Community Redevelopment Law, for the purpose of aiding and cooperating in the Redevelopment Plan, the City of San Leandro ("City"), upon the terms and with or without consideration as it determines, may dedicate or convey any of its property to the Agency; and WHEREAS, the City is conveying, and Agency is accepting the conveyance of, the Property in furtherance of the Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, the Agency owns two parcels on Davis Street adjacent to 1040 Davis Street; and WHEREAS, Agency will dispose of all the properties in a public process in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan and local and state regulations; and WHEREAS, the Agency will convey proceeds of disposition to the City under the terms described in the attached Agreement, a copy of which has been made familiar to the Agency Board; NOW THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro hereby approves the attached Agreement and directs the Executive Director to execute any and all documents necessary to implement the terms and conditions thereof.
