C93 <br />PRELIMINARY REPORT NO <br />Issued by <br />9� z <br />293929-14 W - <br />SL/156 C <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY- EAST BAY <br />TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY <br />14th and Franklin Streets, Oakland, California <br />Phone GL encourt 2070 <br />Upon the surrender of this Report within 30 days and the payment of the premium, a Policy <br />of Title Insurance, with the usual exceptions and conditions, will be issued in the sum of <br />$ ------------------------------------- <br />The said Policy will show the final status of the title after the recordation of any instru- <br />ments between the date hereof and the date of said Policy. <br />No liability hereunder until the fee is paid and Policy issued. <br />To City of San Leandro <br />San Le and ro <br />After an examination of the Records of the County in which the land hereinafter described <br />is situated, ALAMEDA COUNTY -EAST BAY TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY, a corporation, <br />hereby reports the title to said land, at the date hereof, is vested in <br />HEMIAN JOHANSEN, described as single in deed to him dated <br />April 2, 1923, as to the Western 30 feet of the Northern <br />173.25 feet of said property; and in <br />HERMAN JOHANSEN and HAZEL VAWN JOHANSEN, his wife, as joint <br />tenants, as to the remainder of said property. <br />Subject to: <br />1- Taxes for 1941-42 which are now a lien, but mt yet <br />payable. Assessor's Blocks Nos. 521-22. <br />2- Declaration of Homestead by Herman Johansen and Hazel <br />Vawn Johansen, husband and wife, recorded May 16, 1940 in Book 3890 <br />of Official Records, page 454, (Description in said Homestead does <br />not include the Western 30 feet of the hereinafter described property.) <br />NOTE; Title is vested as above on the assumption, with- <br />out liability therefor, that the distance measured along the Northern <br />line of Maud Avenue, and along the Southern line of Juana Avenue, <br />between the Eastern line of Bancroft Avenue and the Western line of <br />that certain 6 acre tract of land described in the deed from <br />Jeremiah 0 'Regan to John Whelan, dated September 26, 1870 and recorded <br />September 26, 1870 in Book 58 of Deeds, page 104, is 893.47 feet. <br />FORM 19 <br />
