GRANT OF EASEMENT <br />THIS INDENTURE, made this /-/ day of GS eA-A-L 1953) <br />between PINE & CO., a partnership, and EUGENE RENE LE ROY, parties <br />of the first part, and CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a municipal corporation, <br />party of the second part, WITNESSETH: <br />Parties of the first part hereby grant to party of the second <br />part a right of way and easement for the purpose of permitting water <br />to flow and drain from that certain real property, and limited thereto, <br />described as follows: <br />REAL PROPERTY in the City of San Leandro, County of 5 `� <br />Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the southwestern <br />line of Block 12, as said block is shown on the map of <br />"Tract 1003, Eden Township, Alameda County, California", <br />filed July 19, 1951 in book 31 of Maps, pages 52 and 53 <br />in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, <br />with the direct extension northeasterly of the northwestern <br />line of the 268.50 acre tract of land described as Seventh <br />in the Decree of Distribution, in the matter of the Estate <br />of Georges Leroy, deceased, in the Superior Court of Contra <br />Costa County, Probate No. 11748 dated May 6, 1948, a cer- <br />tified copy of which decree was recorded November 22, 1948 <br />in book 5660 of Official Records of Alameda County, page <br />403 (.AC/88342); running thence along said extended line and <br />along the northwestern line of said 268.50 acre tract south <br />62' 13' 30" west 2268.05 feet; thence south 27' 46' 30" east <br />1541.20 feet; thence north 83' 33' 40" east, 123.65 feet to <br />a line drawn parallel with, and distant at right angles, <br />1475 feet westerly from the eastern line of said 268.50 acre <br />tract; thence along said parallel line south 60 26' 20" east <br />1287.48 feet to the direct extension westerly of the northern <br />line of the 41.21 acre tract of land described in the deed by <br />Thomas Jefferson McAuley to C. H. McEntyre, dated March 23, <br />1951, recorded April 30, 1951 in book 6424 of said Official <br />Records, page 117, (AF/36423); thence along last said ex- <br />tended line, and along the northern line of said 41.21 acre <br />tract north 870 45' 49" east 1478.98 feet to the eastern <br />line of said 268.50 acre tract- thence along the last named <br />line north 6° 26' 20" west 209�.59 feet to the northern line <br />of the parcel of land described as parcel 9 in the deed by <br />Mary Stenzel, et al, to F. Stenzel Farms Inc., dated April 22, <br />1926, recorded May 13, 1926, in book 1250 of said Official <br />Records page 461 (W/42107); thence along the last named line <br />
