J DEFU <br />J. <br />1 GrORGE^',:TLLIAAS AND IMAM IVILLIUTS, his wife, hereby grant to the <br />,Z i CITY OF SAN LEAA]DRO all that land situated in the City of San Leandro <br />3 Alameda County, California, described as follows: 2 3 <br />4 Parcel 1: B?'GIN\TING at the point of intersection of the <br />northwest line of Callan Avenue and the northeast line <br />5 of Hyde Street as said street and avenue are shown on that <br />certain map entitled "Map of Fast San Leandro," filed Febru- <br />ary 20, 1871 in the Office of the County Recorder of Alameda. <br />County and of record in Map Book 2, page 24, said point of <br />7 beginning being also the southwest corner of Lot 1 in Block <br />5 as said lot and block are shown on said map; running thence <br />8 along said northwest line of Callan Avenue north 700 351 east <br />50.00 feet to the northeast line of said Lot 1; thence along <br />8 the northeast line of said Lot 1 north 190 25' west 2.75 feet; <br />thence south 700 35' west 50.00 feet to the northeast line of <br />10 Hyde Street; thence along the northeast line of said Hyde Street <br />3.1 south 190 25' east 2.75 feet to the point of beginning. <br />12 Parcel 2: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the north- <br />ti.est line of Callan Avenue and the southwest line of �Eyde Street <br />as said avenue and street are shown on that certain map entitled <br />13 "Map of last San Leandro." filed February 20, 1871 in the Office <br />14 i of the County Recorder of Alameda County and of record in Iaap <br />I Book 2, page 24, said point of beginning being also the south- <br />1 6 I east corner of Lot 10, Block 2 as said lot and block are shown <br />on said map; running thence along said northwest line of Callan <br />le I Avenue south 700 35' west 148.00 feet to the southtivest line of <br />Lot 8 in said Block 2; thence along the southwest line of said <br />17 Lot 8 north 280 vest 2.78 feet; thence north 700 35' east 148-42 <br />feet to the southwest line of said Hyde Street; thence south 190 <br />18 25' east 2.75 feet to the point of beginning. <br />19 To have and to hold the above described property unto it, the said <br />20 City of San Leandro, upon condition however that <br />21 1. Grantee agrees, if requested by Grantors to construct a low retain- <br />ing -low to take care of any abrupt change in grade ,:here such change of <br />23 grade appears. <br />24 2. That the Grantors be permitted to make any use of the remainder <br />25 of the parcel of land of which the above described property is now a part <br />2e which Grantors could have made of said property had this conveyance not <br />W been executed. It is expressly agreed that should Grantors be restricted <br />28 in the use of said property by reason of its reduction in area then this <br />29 conveyance shall be null and void and title to the conveyed premises shall <br />30 revert to and be in the Grantors as fully as though this conveyance had not <br />31 been executed. <br />4�J <br />
