LOGAN PAINS, Secretary of THE 14ESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD <br />COMPANY, a California corporation, as such Secretary, do hereby <br />CERTIFY that at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of <br />said corporation held at the office of said corporation on the <br />%th day of November, 1961, at which a quorum of said Board was <br />present, a resolution was duly and regularly passed in the words <br />and figures following, to wit: <br />"RESOLVED, that this corporation execute and <br />deliver to the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a municipal cor- <br />poration of the State of California, a grant deed, <br />subject to all valid existing contracts, leases, <br />liens, encumbrances or claims of title which may <br />affect the real property hereinafter described, con- <br />veying an easement for a public street over and <br />across that certain real property situate in the <br />City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of <br />California, described as follows: <br />A portion of Lot 14 as shown on the map <br />of the Hemme Tract, filed October 1, 1889, in <br />Map Book 9, page 33, Alameda County Records, de- <br />scribed as follows - <br />Commencing at the southwestern corner of <br />said Lot 14; thence along the southeastern line <br />of said Lot 14, the southeastern line of said Lot <br />14 being also the northwestern line of Castro <br />Street, 60 feet wide, North 62' East 68.95 feet <br />to its intersection with the northeastern line of <br />The Western Pacific Railroad Company right of way, <br />80 feet wide, said point of intersection being <br />the ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING: thence along the <br />said northeastern line of The Western Pacific <br />Railroad Company right of way North 49' 07' West <br />34.12 feet to a point of cusp with a non -tangent <br />curve concave to the west., having a radius of <br />39.00 feet and a central angle of 52' 58' 22" <br />(a radial line to said point of cusp bears North <br />59' 18' 43" East); thence southeasterly and <br />southerly 36.06 feet along the arc of the said <br />non -tangent curve to a point of cusp with a non - <br />tangent line, said non -tangent line being the <br />aforesaid northwestern line of Castro Street <br />(a radial line to said point of cusp bears AS <br />South 67' 42' 55" East); thence along the said <br />northwestern line of Castro Street North 62' <br />East 26.33 feet to the point of beginning. <br />
