LOGAN PAINS, Secretary of THE 14ESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, a California corporation, as such Secretary, do hereby CERTIFY that at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of said corporation held at the office of said corporation on the %th day of November, 1961, at which a quorum of said Board was present, a resolution was duly and regularly passed in the words and figures following, to wit: "RESOLVED, that this corporation execute and deliver to the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a municipal cor- poration of the State of California, a grant deed, subject to all valid existing contracts, leases, liens, encumbrances or claims of title which may affect the real property hereinafter described, con- veying an easement for a public street over and across that certain real property situate in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: A portion of Lot 14 as shown on the map of the Hemme Tract, filed October 1, 1889, in Map Book 9, page 33, Alameda County Records, de- scribed as follows - Commencing at the southwestern corner of said Lot 14; thence along the southeastern line of said Lot 14, the southeastern line of said Lot 14 being also the northwestern line of Castro Street, 60 feet wide, North 62' East 68.95 feet to its intersection with the northeastern line of The Western Pacific Railroad Company right of way, 80 feet wide, said point of intersection being the ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING: thence along the said northeastern line of The Western Pacific Railroad Company right of way North 49' 07' West 34.12 feet to a point of cusp with a non -tangent curve concave to the west., having a radius of 39.00 feet and a central angle of 52' 58' 22" (a radial line to said point of cusp bears North 59' 18' 43" East); thence southeasterly and southerly 36.06 feet along the arc of the said non -tangent curve to a point of cusp with a non - tangent line, said non -tangent line being the aforesaid northwestern line of Castro Street (a radial line to said point of cusp bears AS South 67' 42' 55" East); thence along the said northwestern line of Castro Street North 62' East 26.33 feet to the point of beginning.
