Bay-O-Vista
Mr. Homer Hamlin
City Engineer
City Hall
San Leandro, California
Dear Mr, Hamlin:
MAXWELL HARDWARE COMPANY
DEVELOPERS
1441 Franklin Street
Oakland 12, California
GLencourt 2-0277
December 2', I5158
The map of Tract 1361, San Leandrogshows a 12' strip of land
running between Benedict Drive and Foothill Blvd designed for the
installation of a storm drain. However, it has been discovered that
the original map did not designate this strip of land as an easement.
It is our understanding that a storm drain has been installed,
and consequently we believe that an easement should be created. Enclosed
is Grant of Easement from Maxwell Hardware Company to the City of San
Leandro dated December 19, 1958 together with a plat indicating the
area involved.
If this Grant of Easement is accepted by the City Council, we
shall appreciate your letting us know when it has been recorded.
Yours very truly,
MAXWELL HARDW DIP
00
0. H. Peterson
OHP: cf
