CALIFORNIA <br />December 6, 1963 <br />North American Title Insurance Company <br />120 Juana Street <br />San Leandro, California <br />Gentlemen: <br />Please refer to your escrow number 346527A3, dated December 24, 1963, <br />the William J. Silva property. <br />Enclosed are the follawing: a City warrant in the amount of 4-1,590.00, <br />a copy of an option describing the property to be conveyed, and two signed <br />but undated certificates of authorization by the City Clerk accepting deeds <br />on behalf of the City. Full price of the property being taken is $1,300-- <br />$10.00 having been paid to the owner at the time to the taking of the option. <br />An additional sum of $300, a part or all of which will be paid to the Regal <br />Petroleum Corporation per the option, is included in the enclosed warrant. <br />Will you please prepare a grant deed describing the optioned property, <br />conveying title from William J. Silva to the City of San Leandro a Municipal <br />Corporation. Upon recordation of the grant and quit claim deeds and issuance <br />of the policy of title insurance, showing title vested in the City free and <br />clear of all encumbrances, you are authorized to deliver payment to the <br />person entitled thereto. <br />With regard to Regal Petroleum Corporation you are instructed to pay to <br />the Corporation on behalf of the City, a sum not to exceed $300. The Regal <br />Petroleum Corporation, by separate copy of this letter, is advised to submit <br />itemized invoices to the City covering the relocation of the sign and <br />electrolier. The City upon approval of the invoices, will send then: to you <br />for payment upon delivery of a signed quit clai-,i deed by Regal, et al, to you. <br />Taxes are to be prorated as of the date cf recording the deed. <br />Please have the deeds recorded and returned to the City 'laneaer's Office, <br />City Hall, San eandro, California. Please make a note of this last instruc- <br />tion on the back of the deeds.
