WARING, AUDITOR -CONTROLLER CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON PARCELS SUBJECT: ACQUIRED BY PUBLIC AGENCIES DATE: YAY 9, 1966 Examination of records by this office discloses that the following parcels, on which delinquent taxes exist, were acquired by public agencies as indicated. It is believed that the acquiring public agencies failed to petition the Board of Supervisors for tax cancellation, or that the results of any court actions involved did not reach this office. In accordance with Section 4986, Revenue and Taxation Code, with the consent of the District Attorney and approval of the Board of Supervisors, that authority be granted to remove these parcels and delinquent taxes from the delinquent abstract list.
