O P T I O N
<br />In consideration of TEN AND N0/100 ($10.00) DOLLARS, the receipt
<br />whereof is hereby acknowledged, GENERAL FOODS CORPORATION hereby
<br />gives to the CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a Municipal Corporation,
<br />hereinafter referred to as Optionee, the option of buying, for
<br />the full price of SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY NINE AND 92/100
<br />($7969.92) DOLLARS, the following described real property situated
<br />in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California,
<br />and more particularly described as follows, to wit:
<br />PARCEL LD - 60 - 233. Real property in the City of San Leandro,
<br />County of Alameda, State of California, being a portion of that
<br />certain parcel of land conveyed by Louis E. Fear and Margaret
<br />R. Fear, his wife, to General Foods Corporation, a Delaware
<br />corporation by deed dated September 19, 1951, recorded September
<br />21, 1951 in Book 6541, page 315, Official Records of Alameda
<br />County, more particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the southeastern line of the
<br />tract of land containing 113.02 acres conveyed by the Estudillo
<br />family to Lewis Knox by deed dated December 1, 1860 and recorded
<br />December 13, 1860 in Book "K" of Deeds, page 91, Alameda County
<br />Records, said southeastern line being the northwestern boundary
<br />line of that certain parcel of land containing 27.06 acres, more
<br />or less, and designated as "Parcel 1" in deed from Friden
<br />Calculating Machine Co., Inc., a corporation, to General Foods
<br />Corporation, a corporation, dated March 11, 1947, recorded
<br />March 14, 1947 under Recorder's Series No. AB/21687, Alameda
<br />County Records, with the northeastern line of Washington Avenue,
<br />formerly Watkins Street; thence along the last mentioned line
<br />north 270 47' west 322.41 feet to the northwestern line of the
<br />hereinbefore mentioned parcel conveyed by Fear to General Foods
<br />Corporation; thence along the last mentioned line north 420 13'
<br />east 12.77 feet to a line parallel with the said northeastern
<br />line of Washington Avenue and 12.00 feet, measured at right
<br />angles, northeasterly therefrom; thence along the said parallel
<br />line south 270 47' west 322.41 feet to the first mentioned
<br />southeastern line of the 113.02 acre tract conveyed by Estudillo
<br />family to Knox; thence along the last mentioned line south 420
<br />13' west 12.77 feet to the point of beginning.
<br />PARCEL LD - 60 - 252. A portion of Parcel 1 as described in the
<br />deed from Friden Calculating Machine Co., Inc., a corporation, to
<br />General Foods Corporation, a corporation, recorded March 14, 1947
<br />in Book 5107, page 58, Official Records of Alameda County,
<br />described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the northeastern line
<br />of the Southern Pacific Company, formerly the Central Pacific
<br />Railway Company, right of way, 100 feet wide, with the north-
<br />eastern line of Washington Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence along
<br />the said northeastern line of Washington Avenue north 270 47'
<br />west 235.56 feet to the northwestern line of the aforementioned
<br />Parcel 1; thence along the said northwestern line of Parcel 1
<br />north 420 13' east 12.77 feet to a line parallel with the said
<br />northeastern line of Washington Avenue and 12.00 feet, measured
<br />at right angles, northeasterly therefrom; thence along said
<br />parallel line south 270 47' east 286.05 feet to the aforementioned
<br />northeastern line of the Southern Pacific Company right of way;
<br />thence along the last mentioned line north 420 22' west 47.66
<br />feet to the point of beginning.
