IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 66 - 118 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM <br />DEED (City of San Leandro -San Leandro Industrial <br />Park. Corp.) <br />Recitals <br />By an instrument dated January 13, 1966, and recorded on February 7, <br />1966 on Reel 1701, Image 606, AY16868, Alameda County Records, San Leandro <br />Industrial Park Corporation, a corporation, granted to the City of San <br />Leandro a right-of-way and easement over certain lands for the purpose <br />of permitting waters to drain from Tract 2790. <br />Said easement includes all that real property now within Tract 2856. <br />Alternative provisions have been made for the drainage of said <br />Tract 2790 by the execution by San Leandro Industrial Park Corporation of <br />a new grant of easement dated April 13, 1966 granting to the City of San <br />Leandro a right-of-way and easement for the purpose of permitting waters <br />to flow and drain from Tract 2790 and percolate in and on certain other <br />real property of said Corporation, and by the depositing by San Leandro <br />Industrial Park Corporation of security for the construction of permanent <br />drainage facilities. <br />The Public Works Director approves the alternative provisions for <br />the drainage of Tract 2790 and recommends that the City quitclaim the <br />rights acquired by the City under the Grant of Easement dated January 13, <br />1966. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute that <br />certain Quitclaim Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto, quitclaiming <br />to San Leandro Industrial Park Corporation all rights acquired by the City <br />of San Leendro under that certain grant of easement dated January 13, 1966 <br />and recorded February 7, 1966. <br />
