22. As an additional consideration for this Lease, Lessee agrees to <br />pay Lessor all taxes both general and special, levied or assessed <br />upon the land and improvements of which the demised premises form <br />a part. It is understood that Lessor shall immediately upon <br />receipt of the tax bills, submit to Lessee a statement in writing, <br />and Lessee agrees to pay amount of taxes within fifteen days after <br />receiving such statement. <br />23. Lessor grants to Lessee an option to purchase the premises leased <br />hereby at any time on or after August 15, 1966 and extending there- <br />after throughout the term of this lease for the sum of Forty Thou- <br />sand Dollars ($40,000), on condition that ninety (90) days' notice <br />in writing of such exercise of option be given to Lessor. <br />Lessee agrees that the Lessor may request exercise of the above - <br />described option to purchase the property herein demised at any <br />time during the period in which said option provision could be <br />exercised by Lessee upon written notice to Lessee delivered at <br />least ninety (90) days prior to the date at which said option is <br />requested to be exercised. If such request is made by Lessor and <br />the option is not thereafter exercised by Lessee on or prior to <br />the date on which the option is requested to be so exercised, then <br />in that event the option to purchase shall thereupon expire and <br />terminate and shall thence forward be of no force and effect. <br />24.
