EXHIBIT F - Grant Application: Letter of Intent, Scope of Work and Work Plan__________________________________________________________________________EXHIBIT F - Grant Application: Letter of Intent, Scope of Work and Work Plan__________________________________________________________________________ <br />1.Minimum Qualifications <br />1.Does your agency have an enforcement program to address abandoned boats?Yes No <br />If Yes, describe San Leandro Marina is owned and operated by the City of San Leandro. <br />Chapter 4-19 of the Municipal Code grants the City the authority to remove <br />abandoned vessels within the Marina. <br />The City provides past due notifications for delinquent accounts. The paid <br />status of an account is an indicator whether a vessel may be abandoned. <br />An eviction letter is mailed at 90 days notifying lien proceedings will begin. <br />The lien process is contracted. Boat owners have 10 days after the lien <br />sale to redeem vessels by paying account in full. Unsold vessels become <br />City property. The demolition bid process for unsold vessels begins 10 <br />days after the auction date.
