<br />[Clerk] 10 mins on the timer <br />City Council Questions/Clarifications {Councilmembers} 5 Minute limit to speak [Clerk] 5 mins on the timer <br />Public Comments – 2 min per person (can be adjusted by mayor) [Clerk] 2 mins on the timer <br />{MAYOR} The public hearings regarding the Community Facilities District are now open. The hearings are to inquire into the formation of the CFD, the levy of the special taxes in the <br /> CFD and the incurrence of bonded indebtedness for the CFD. Do any landowners within the district wish to file written or verbal protests? If so, they must be filed now. <br /> <br />[Pause to see if there are any written protests being submitted.] <br /> <br />{MAYOR} We will now receive comments and questions and any oral protests from any interested persons. When all comments have been received, the hearings will be closed. <br /> <br />[Mayor opens up the floor to comments, questions and oral protests from the audience.] <br />City Council Comments/Additional questions <br />[Clerk] 5 mins on the timer <br />Mayor closes hearings: The public hearings are now closed. City Clerk, can you please tally up the written protests, if any, and determine whether there is a majority protest of either <br /> the registered voters or landowners subject to the special tax in the CFD? <br />City Clerk responds that a majority protest does not exist. <br /> <br />Mayor calls for action on first 3 resolutions: We may now consider and adopt the following resolutions in the following order: <br /> <br />“Resolution to Form the Community Facilities District” <br />Mayor entertains a Motion/Second <br />Council vote <br /> <br /> <br />(ii) “Resolution Determining Necessity to Incur Bonded Indebtedness for the CFD” <br />Mayor entertains a Motion/Second <br />Council vote
