Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and David Clovis Consultants and Associates Last revised 04/11/2022 Exhibit A – Page 1 of 1 EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES The City of San Leandro is requesting the services of a risk management professional to evaluate the current function and staffing of the Risk Management function at the City. In addition the consultant will provide consulting services including but not limited to claims management, contract management, risk evaluations, safety compliance, insurance/risk transfer and other related risk management functions. Consultant will work with Megahn Stephenson and other member’s of the department to create a plan for the future of Risk Management. The consultant will review Risk Management processes within the City to better understand the current practices and make recommendations as identified. The consultation will be provided both remotely and on site as necessary. The deliverables for this project will be: 1. Provide a recommendation for future staffing of the risk management function. 2. Provide recommendations for the overall Risk Management Function for the City and evaluate options for optimal reporting relationships. 3. Assess current claims and contracts and work with departments to achieve compliance with City requirements. 4. Identify and evaluate organizational opportunities for the risk management operation, including evaluating current City Departments working relationships with risk and determine processes and procedures to enhance the risk management function. 5. Evaluate current policies and procedures to insure that all aspects of Risk Management meet current state of the industry practices and achieve compliance with all regulatory requirements.
