Transport vessels to the contractor’s site for dismantling and demolition. 5. Dispose of all vessels. The vessels may not be refurbished or resold. 6. Submit photographs (showing CF or #ID) of each step to the City of San Leandro Project Manager, including hazardous waste removal, dismantling, demolition and disposal of the vessels. 7. Remove boats from the San Leandro Marina between the hours of 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday. 8. Be aware of tides at all times. At a minus tide the area is shallow where the vessels are berthed. 9. Itemize the bid amount for each vessel. The City has received a limited grant for this project through the California Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW). Based on availability of funds, the City reserves the right to select individual vessels from the list to be removed and disposed of for this project. PLEASE NOTE: Contractor shall be required to sign a Non-Professional Services Agreement (NPSA draft attached), submit Certificate of Insurance with DBW grant agreement number listed and endorsements, and a City of San Leandro Business License prior to issuance of the purchase order (PO). Contractor listed in bid proposals must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in order to be eligible to work. Work is to be scheduled by Contractor with issuance of PO and be completed within 30 days. If the proposed scope of work (dependent upon number of boats selected by the City) exceeds $50,000, the NPSA will need to go to the City Council for approval prior to the City issuing the PO. For scheduling purposes, the process to obtain Council approval of the NPSA and issuance of the PO can take up to 3-4 months (assuming all required insurance and paperwork from the Contractor is in order).
