As specified in Section 13 of the lease, this letter will <br />serve notice that the City will exercise its right to acquire titl <br />to the property prior to the commencement of the fifth year of the <br />lease. The lease provides for an option to purchase the property <br />for $496,746 less the amount of lease payments to date; the out- <br />standing balance due under the lease is $271,746. A check made <br />payable to the County will be presented during the week of April S.1984. Please let me know the procedure the County wishes to folk <br />to record the transaction and effect the change in title. <br />The cooperation and assistance of the Board of Supervisors in <br />arranging for the City's lease -purchase of the former court buildi <br />is greatly appreciated.
