WEST, CITY CLERK <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />THE SINGER COMPANY, a corporation, hereby grants to the CITY OF <br />SAN LEANDRO, a municipal corporation, all that real property situated <br />in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br />PARCEL 1 <br />A portion of that certain 5-acre tract of land described in the deed <br />from Silas McClure to Lewis G. Cabanis, dated June 26, 1865, and <br />recorded June 29, 1865, in Book "S" of deeds at page 507, Alameda <br />County Records, and being also a portion of that 3 1/2 acre tract of <br />land described in the deed from Herman F. Schlueter to Charles H. <br />Hecker, dated August 2, 1907, and recorded August 2, 1907, in Book 1391 <br />of Deeds at page 124, Alameda County Records, and being further described <br />as follows: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the southeast line of that certain <br />7-acre tract of land described in the deed from Silas McClure and wife <br />to James B. Durman, dated December 11, 1886, and recorded in Book "W" <br />of deeds at page 471, with the northeast line of Washington Avenue <br />(60 feet wide), formerly Watkins Street; thence along last said line <br />north 27° 54' 00" west 176.73 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; <br />thence continuing along said northeast line north 27° 54' 00" west <br />465.45 feet, more or less, to the northwest line of said 5-acre tract <br />of land described in said deed from Silas McClure to Lewis G. Cabanis, <br />thence along the last said line north 420 00' 00" east 7.45 feet to a <br />line drawn parallel with and 7.00 feet northeasterly, measured at <br />right angles, from the said line of Washington Avenue; thence along <br />said parallel line south 27° 54' 00" west 33.01 feet; thence south <br />270 16' 22" east 365.02 feet, more or less, to a line drawn parallel <br />with and 3.00 feet northeasterly, measured at right angles, from said <br />line of Washington Avenue; thence along the last said parallel line <br />south 27° 54' 00" east 70.00 feet; thence south 62° 06' 00" west 3.00 <br />feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />The above described parcel of land contains 2256 square feet, more or <br />less.
