IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97- 167 (1049/ 1120 ) <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR A <br />PORTION OF THE PROPERTY AT 1193 ALADDIN AVENUE, <br />AND APPURTENANT ACCESS EASEMENT, FROM <br />THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY; AND <br />APPROVING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED <br />FOR A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY AT <br />1193 ALADDIN AVENUE, AND APPURTENANT ACCESS <br />EASEMENT, TO THE SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY FOR THE MARINA BOULEVARD AUTO CENTER <br />READER BOARD SIGN <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 96-166, and in furtherance of a Disposition <br />and Development Agreement, the City Council had previously executed a quitclaim <br />deed to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro for property on 1193 <br />Aladdin Avenue, and appurtenant access easement, more particularly described in the <br />attached Exhibit A, for the location of the Marina Boulevard automall reader board <br />sign; and <br />WHEREAS, the readerboard sib has been constructed in a different location; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to quitclaim the property on which the <br />sign is actually located to the Redevelopment Agency; and <br />WHEREAS the property actually being used for the automall readerboard sign <br />is at 1193 Aladdin Avenue, with an appurtenant access easement, more particularly <br />described in the attached Exhibit 1 (the "Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, such Property is not currently in use, and is not planned for <br />future use. <br />
