It is intended that the permitted <br />land uses and land use standards set forth in <br />the general plans now or as hereafter amended <br />shall be permitted land uses and land use <br />standards governing the applicable portions of <br />the project area under this plan. The permitted <br />land uses in Attachment B are drawn from the <br />applicable provisions of the general plans in <br />effect at the time of the adoption of this plan, <br />and shall be deemed to be automatically <br />modified as the permitted land use(s) in the <br />applicable general plan may be revised from <br />time to time, in order to maintain <br />conformance of this plan with the general <br />plan. (Ord. 93-012 § 501, 1993) <br />2.28.020 Public rights -of -way. <br />The public street system in the project area <br />shall be developed in accordance with the <br />general plan of the city and county, as <br />amended from time to time, and street design <br />standards as adopted by the city council or <br />county. <br />Streets and alleys may be widened, altered, <br />abandoned, repaired, or closed as necessary <br />for property development of the project. <br />It is contemplated that the agency will <br />construct, or aid in the construction of, certain <br />streets designed in the plan which are not now <br />constructed or which may require further <br />widening or improvement. The public rights - <br />of -way may be used for vehicular and/or <br />pedestrian traffic, as well as for public <br />improvements, public and private utilities, and <br />activities typically found in public rights -of - <br />way.
