IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 50 (1007/2876 ) <br />RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />FRONTING TRACT MAP 7154; A STRIP OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY, 100 FEET LONG <br />AND 7 FEET WIDE AT 461 AND 473 ESTUDILLO AVENUE <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, a 7 foot wide strip of land to be summarily vacated by this resolution is <br />located at 461 and 473 Estudillo Avenue and is more precisely in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, <br />and made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the 7 foot wide strip is not required for street purposes. <br />WHEREAS, the proposed vacation has been found to be categorically exempt from the <br />California Environmental Quality Act; and <br />WHEREAS, said summary vacation is made under Chapter 4 (Summary Vacation) Part 3 <br />Division 9, Section 8331 of the California Streets and Highways Code; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />The City Council hereby orders the summary vacation of the herein above <br />described 7 foot strip of public right-of-way. <br />2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the <br />Office of the Recorder of Alameda County, California immediately upon its adoption. <br />That from and after the date of recordation of this resolution, said 7 foot wide <br />strip of right-of-way no longer constitutes a public street. <br />Introduced by Council Member Gal van and passed and adopted this <br />17th day of April 2000, by the following called vote: <br />
