For the FY2022 Byrne JAG Lo cal grant,
OPD plans to invest in:
▪ Training: sending OPD law enforcement personnel to various trainings, courses
and conferences as well as bring specialized training to OPD ($100,000).

▪ Technology Innovations: new PCs, updated software, other hardware related
to IT needs, and other technology needs that arise ($100,000)

▪ Equipment upgrade: for many years OPD has owned and operated an aging
helicopter that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to maintain.
