<br />Exhibit A – Page 15 of 42 <br />• Day after Thanksgiving Friday after Thanksgiving <br />• Christmas Day December 25 <br /> <br />If a holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed the previous Friday. If it falls on a Sunday, it is observed the <br />following Monday. Contractor shall be notified in advance if certain City buildings have additional closure dates. <br /> <br />Weekly: Shall mean one day per week. <br /> <br />MWF; TTh: Shall mean on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; shall mean Tuesdays and Thursdays. <br /> <br />Monthly: Shall mean once per calendar month. All such work performed and completed in the last week of <br />each month. <br /> <br />Quarterly: Shall mean every three calendar months. All such work to be performed and completed in the last <br />week of September, December, March and June, unless otherwise arranged with the Buildings Supervisor. <br /> <br />Semi-Annually: Shall mean every six calendar months. All such work to be performed and completed in the <br />last week of April and October, unless otherwise arranged with the Buildings Supervisor. <br /> <br />Annual: Shall be once per year, to be performed and completed in the last week of October, unless otherwise <br />arranged with the Buildings Supervisor. <br /> <br />As-Needed: Shall be determined by Buildings Supervisor. <br /> <br />Ceramic Tile Sealer: Apply protective sealer finish which adds luster but does not build up on floor surface. <br /> <br />Clean: Remove all dirt, stains and marks with approved cleaner. <br /> <br />Damp Mop: Remove all surface dirt and stains with a mop and warm water containing detergent or floor <br />cleaner as required and rinse. <br /> <br />Damp Wipe: Remove all surface dirt with a damp cloth. <br /> <br />Dust: Remove all loose dirt and debris. Treated cloths shall be used. <br /> <br />Hi-Speed Buffing: Hi-speed buffing machine shall be used to apply protective sheen on wax floors where <br />specified. <br /> <br />Scrub: Remove all dirt, stains and marks with an approved cleaner using a floor machine equipped with <br />scrubbing pads. <br /> <br />Spray-Buff: Use floor machine equipped with spray buff pad. Apply solution and buff until dry. <br /> <br />Strip: Remove accumulation of old floor finish, all surface dirt, stains and marks. Rinse and dry. <br /> <br />Sweep: Remove all loose dirt and litter with sweeping tool and treated cloth; in places difficult to sweep, use <br />brush or vacuum. <br /> <br />Vacuum: Remove all surface and embedded dirt with a high efficiency filter suction cleaner (Filtering down to <br />particles 1 micron in size). <br /> <br />Wax: Apply appropriate number of coats of approved floor finish. <br /> <br />Facilities, Utilities, Supplies and Equipment
