Forbes
City Attorney
City of San Leandro
835 East 14th Street
San Leandro, California 94577
Re: City of San Leandro vs. Smooke
Dear Glenn:
1972.
0-1Y ATTORNEYS OFFICE
BAN 2 4 1977
CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
Hearing was held on the Smooke matter on
January 21, 1977, and Judge Golde granted judgment.
I recorded the Final Order in Condemnation. The
property is now owned by the City of San Leandro.
Enclosed are two (2) copies of the Judgment in Con-
demnation and two (2) copies of the Final Judgment
in Condemnation. The usual form letter, with two
conies of the iudzement should be sent to the Board
as of the date of the order of immediate possession.
Thereafter, the Board will order the assessor
to segregate the taxes for the parcel taken and the
remainder owned by Smooke. There should then follow a
notice to the Smookes containing a refund claim form.
This should come from the county auditor.
It is my understanding that you are arranging
the conveyance of the Williams' property to the Smookes
in order to complete the transaction. I will deposit
the file with Mrs. Fiske in the next day or so.
If either you or Mr. Simonian have any
questions, please contact me immediately.
My best to you.
Very truly yours,
CEI ENGE ' \
ME: jf
Enclosures (4)
cc: Mr. Charles Simonian
