In conversation last Friday with Mr. Van Tine of <br />our San Leandro Plant, we learned that it is highly probable <br />that an existing PG&E gas main will be left in place in <br />Alvarado Street. If this materializes, mention of the gas <br />main will have to be added to paragraph 1.(a). <br />Within the week we expect to send you an expression of <br />intention in letter form with regard to the future disposi- <br />tion of the sanitary and storm sewers in Alvarado St. and <br />the question of the future vacation of the remainder of the <br />street should Caterpillar ever acquire the remaining property <br />on Alvarado south of Antonio. <br />We believe this document fairly represents the understandings <br />arrived at regarding the vacation. If after reviewing it you <br />have comments, we will be happy to receive them.
