IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 63 - 56 <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT- <br />WILLIAMS STREET AT NEPTUNE DRIVE <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on <br />September 23, 196.3, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 63-188 <br />to vacate a storm drainage easement, Williams Street at Neptune <br />Drive, as hereinafter described; and <br />,. Whereas, a public hearing was set for October 7, 1963, at <br />which time any person objecting to Such vacation was given the <br />opportunity to appear and show cause why such vacation should not <br />be ordered, and notice of such meeting was duly published and <br />posted; and <br />Whereas, such hearing was held by the City Council on October 7, <br />1963,.and the City Council at the time of such hearing determined <br />that said storm drainage easement was unnecessary for present or <br />prospective public use: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section 1. The easement which is described in the above -men- <br />tioned Resolution of Intention and hereinafter described is unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public use and said storm drainage easement <br />be and it hereby is vacated and abandoned, to wit: <br />Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, <br />State of California, being all of that parcel of land <br />described in the Grant of Easement from John Do White and <br />Norma Jo White, his wife, to the City of San Leandro, a <br />municipal corporation, recorded October 20, 1960, in Book <br />6261, page 405, Official Records of Alameda County, being <br />also that easement described in paragraph 4 in Judgment No. <br />316286 in the Superior Court of the State of California, in <br />and for the County of Alameda between Robert.C. Joughin and <br />Janet M. Joughin - Plaintiffs - vs. W. Porter Davis et al, <br />- Defendants - dated March 12, 1962, and recorded March 13, 1962 <br />in Reel 535, Image 192, Official Records of Alameda County, <br />being more particularly described as follows: <br />
