IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. N.S. <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF SANDELIN COURT <br />(R . B . Wilson) <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on Novem- <br />ber 13, 1961, passed a resolution of intention No. 4692 C.M.S. to <br />vacate a portion of Sandelin Court (a public street in the City of <br />San Leandro) as hereinafter described; and <br />Whereas, a public hearing was set for December 4, 1961, at <br />which time any person objecting to such vacation was given the op- <br />portunity to appear and show cause why such vacation should not be <br />ordered, and notice of such meeting was duly published and posted; <br />and <br />Whereas, such hearing was held by the City Council on Decem- <br />ber 4, 1961, and the City Council at the time of such hearing <br />determined that said portion of Sandelin Court was unnecessary for <br />present or prospective public use: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro <br />does ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section I. That a portion of Sandelin Court located within <br />the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, California, is unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public use and said portion of Sandelin <br />Court be and it hereby is vacated and abandoned; said portion of <br />Sandelin Court is more particularly described as follows: <br />A portion of Lot 3 in Block 3, Bellevue Park, as shown on <br />the map filed November 28, 1894, in Book 17 of Maps, <br />page 68, Alameda County Records, described as follows: <br />Commencing at the most southerly corner of said Block 3, <br />being the most northerly corner of the intersection of <br />Graff Avenue and Sandelin Avenue as shown on said map; <br />thence along the northeastern line of said Graff Avenue <br />northwesterly 230 feet to the northwestern line of <br />Sandelin Court as described in the Quit Claim deed from <br />U. B. Lee and Ruth M. Lee, his wife, to the City of <br />San Leandro, dated May 26, 1959, and recorded August 4, <br />1959 in Book 9110, page 212, Official Records of Alameda <br />County; thence along the said northwestern line of <br />Sandelin Court north 54° 46' 35'' east (north 540 46' 35'' <br />east being assumed as the bearing of this line for the <br />purpose of this description) 115 feet to the ACTUAL POINT <br />
