'i & %j C.M.S. <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A <br />PORTION OF WASHINGT"ON AVENUE <br />(Redevelopment Agency) <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby elects <br />to proceed herein under the provisions of Chapter a.l of Title V of <br />the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957: <br />It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of <br />Washington Avenue. Said Washington Avenue is a public street officially <br />known and designated as "Washington Avenue." Said portion of said <br />Washington Avenue so proposed to be vacated and abandoned is described <br />as follows: <br />Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of . <br />Alameda, State of California, being a portion of <br />Washington Avenue, formerly Watkins Street, described <br />as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the most northern corner of Block 4 as <br />shown on the Map of the Town of San Leandro, filed <br />February 27, 1855 in Map Book 2, page 43, Alameda <br />County Records; thence along the southwestern line <br />of Washington Avenue, being also the northeastern <br />line of said Block 4, southeasterly 125 feet; thence <br />at right angles northeasterly 10 feet; thence parallel <br />to the said southwestern line of Washington Avenue <br />northwesterly 125 feet; thence at right angles south- <br />westerly 10 feet to the point of beginning. <br />Reference is hereby made to a map of said proposed vacation entitled <br />"MAP SHOWING PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF WASHINGTON AVENUE," <br />Drawing 100, Case 1603, on file in the office of the City Clerk for par- <br />ticulars as to the proposed vacation; <br />Notice is hereby given that on Monday, December 4, 1961, at 8:15 <br />o1clock p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Council of said City, <br />City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, any and all <br />
