RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF WASHINGT"ON AVENUE (Redevelopment Agency) The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby elects to proceed herein under the provisions of Chapter a.l of Title V of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957: It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Washington Avenue. Said Washington Avenue is a public street officially known and designated as "Washington Avenue." Said portion of said Washington Avenue so proposed to be vacated and abandoned is described as follows: Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of . Alameda, State of California, being a portion of Washington Avenue, formerly Watkins Street, described as follows: BEGINNING at the most northern corner of Block 4 as shown on the Map of the Town of San Leandro, filed February 27, 1855 in Map Book 2, page 43, Alameda County Records; thence along the southwestern line of Washington Avenue, being also the northeastern line of said Block 4, southeasterly 125 feet; thence at right angles northeasterly 10 feet; thence parallel to the said southwestern line of Washington Avenue northwesterly 125 feet; thence at right angles south- westerly 10 feet to the point of beginning. Reference is hereby made to a map of said proposed vacation entitled "MAP SHOWING PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF WASHINGTON AVENUE," Drawing 100, Case 1603, on file in the office of the City Clerk for par- ticulars as to the proposed vacation; Notice is hereby given that on Monday, December 4, 1961, at 8:15 o1clock p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Council of said City, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, any and all
