IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />OR I NANCE NO . 1✓12/3 N.S. <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING EASEMENTS (RESERVES) - <br />IN LOTS 20 TO 23, BLOCK ''B'' BANCROFT GARDENS <br />(Milton) <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on <br />March 6, 1961, passed a resolution of intention (No. 4479 C.M.S.) <br />to vacate certain easements (reserves) as hereinafter described; <br />and <br />Whereas, a public hearing was set for April 3, 1961, at which <br />time any person objecting to such vacation was given the oppor- <br />tunity to appear and show cause why such vacation should not be <br />ordered, and notice of such meeting was duly published and posted; <br />and <br />Whereas, such hearing was held by the City Council on April 3, <br />1961, and the City Council at the time of such hearing determined <br />that said easements (reserves) were unnecessary for present or <br />prospective public uses: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro <br />does ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section I. That certain easements (reserves) located within <br />the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, California, are unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public uses and said easements (reserves) <br />be and hereby are vacated; said easements (reserves) are more partic- <br />ularly described as follows: <br />A five foot wide reserve along the eastern line <br />of Lots 20, 21, 22 and 23 in Block ''B'' as said <br />reserves, Lots and Block are shown on the map <br />of Bancroft Gardens filed April 11, 1927, in Map <br />Book 12, Page 67, Alameda County Records. <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days <br />after adoption and shall be published once prior to adoption. <br />
