IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2022-174 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL <br />AUTHORIZING INVESTMENTS OF MONIES IN THE LOCAL AGENCY <br />INVESTMENT FUND AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN DEPOSITORIES AND <br />FURTHER AUTHORIZING SPECIFIC CITY OFFICIALS TO REMIT MONIES IN <br />THE CITY TREASURY TO THE STATE TREASURY FOR DEPOSITI IN THE LOCAL <br />AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976, Section 16429.1 was added <br />to the California Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State <br />Treasury for the deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State <br />Treasurer; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the deposit and withdrawal of money in the <br />Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the <br />Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein is in the best interests of the <br />City of San Leandro. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL <br />RESOLVES, that the findings described above are made, and that the City Council authorizes <br />the deposit and withdrawal of City of San Leandro monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund <br />in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the California <br />Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein, and verification by the State <br />Treasurer's Office of all banking information provided in that regard; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following City officials or their successors in <br />office shall be authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency <br />Investment Fund: <br />Frances M. Robustelli <br />City Manager <br />Janelle T. Cameron <br />Assistant City Manager <br />T. Michael Yuen <br />Finance Director <br />Scott Koll <br />Deputy City Manager <br />And it is further RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2021-161 is hereby rescinded. <br />
