Sincerely, Your IT Team

Good morning City Council,

I am writing this morning to urge you to consider not voting in a pay raise for council, but to propose an
amount and put it to the voters next election cycle.

Between the base pay and health benefits, I feel council members are adequately compensated
compared to other cities similar in size.

At a time when the city is struggling to recruit and retain employees and is looking to fund a navigation
center and social programs it purely irresponsible. Most appalling is that the suggestion came from a jr
councilmember who has the least visibility in public, less than a full term under his belt, and sits on
another board.

Please put the public needs first, and put this to a vote of your constituents.

Respectfully,

Lawrence Andrews
District 2
