Sincerely, Your IT Team

Mayor and City Council Members:

I have a concern about you potentially voting on a pay raise for yourself, that could be a
significant raise. I am concerned about this as a citizen for three reasons:

1. This was only discussed briefly , I believe, two weeks ago, and a minimal presentation was put
together for Monday evening. This seems to be being pushed forward very quickly and purposefully,
when minimal people will comment.

2. You should not be putting forth and discussing a pay raise when we are dealing with inflation and
recession like like tendencies.

3. Any raise beyond 5-10% should go to the voters, in a typical year. This allows for full
transparency. However, in our current non-typical times, I think a pay raise should d go to the voters.

Thank you for all you do.

MaryAnn Frates
354 Lorraine Blvd., San Leandro, CA.
