M111YA <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 75 - 38 <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING EASEMENT <br />(Lots 9 and 10, Tract 3497) <br />Recitals <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro on June 23, 1975, passed its <br />Resolution of Intention No. 75-150 to vacate a certain easement, as hereinafter <br />described. <br />A public hearing was set for July 21, 1975, at which time any person object- <br />ing to such vacation was given the opportunity to appear and show cause why such <br />vacation should not be ordered, and notice of such meeting was duly published and <br />posted. <br />Such hearing was held by the City Council on July 21, 1975, and the City <br />Council at the time of such hearing determined that said easement was unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as <br />f ollows : <br />Section 1. The easement which is described in the above -mentioned Resolution <br />of Intention and hereinafter described is unnecessary for present or prospective <br />public use and said easement is hereby vacated and abandoned, to wit: <br />Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State <br />of California, being a portion of Lots 9 and 10 in Tract 3497, as <br />said lots are shown on the map of Tract 3497 filed October 3, 1973, <br />in Book 81 of maps at pages 37, 38 and 39, Alameda County Records, <br />and being further described as follows: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the west line of Hillside Circle <br />and the north line of Lot 9, as said circle and lot are shown on said <br />map of Tract 3497; thence along the last said line south 620 46' 25" <br />west 8.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence along a line <br />drawn parallel with and 8.00 feet westerly, measured at right angles, <br />from the said west line of Hillside Circle, south 27° 13' 35" east <br />5.00 feet; thence along a line drawn parallel with and 5.00 feet <br />southerly, measured at right angles, from the said north line of Lot <br />9, south 62' 46' 25" west 1.52.00 feet; thence north 27° 13' 35" west <br />10.00 feet; thence along a line drawn parallel, with and 5.00 feet <br />northerly, measured at right angles, from the said north line of Lot <br />9, north 62' 46' 25" east, 152.06 feet to a paint on a non -tangent <br />curve concave to the east, havir_g a radius of 208.00 feet, a radial <br />to said poi.^t bears south 64° 09' 04" west; thence southerly along <br />the said non-tangect curve, through a central angle of 1° 22' 39" a <br />distance of 5.00 feet, to the TRUE POINT OF BFCTND;INC. • <br />The above described parcel of land contains 1,520 square feet, more <br />or less. <br />
