A
CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT
ON
VACATION OF A PORTION OF A
PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT IN
LOTS 9 AND 10, TRACT 3497 (HILLSIDE CIRCLE)
1. The "Public Service Easement" was offered for dedication to the
public through Tract 3497 and accepted by the City Council. The
Tract Map was filed with the Alameda County Recorder on October 3,
1973.
2. Gas, water, power, sanitary sewer, storm drain and pavement do not
exist within the proposed vacation.
3. The serving utilities have indicated they would not object to the
proposed vacation since none maintain facilities there, nor did
they request reservations.
4. The abutting property owners do not object; they initiated the re-
quest For vacation.
5. Now, therefore, as there appears to be no objection to the proposed
vacation, it is recommended that that portion of the "Public Service
Easement" within lots 9 and 10 of Tract 3497 be vacated, as requested.
6.
