1007 <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 77 - 34 <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF HAYS STREET <br />Recitals <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro on August 29, 1977, passed <br />its Resolution of Intention No. 77 - 306 to vacate a portion of Hays Street, a <br />public street in the City of San Leandro, as hereinafter described. <br />A public hearing was set for October 3, 1977, at which time any person <br />objecting to such vacation was given the opportunity to appear and show cause why <br />such vacation should not be ordered, and notice of such meeting was duly published <br />and posted. <br />Such hearing was held by the City Council on October 3, 1977, and the <br />City Council at the time of such hearing determined that said portion of Hays <br />Street was unnecessary for present or prospective public use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN <br />as follows: <br />Section l,That a portion of Hays Street located within the City of San <br />Leandro, Alameda County, California, is unnecessary for present or prospective <br />public use and said portion of Hays Street is hereby vacated and abandoned. Said <br />portion of Hays Street is described as follows: <br />Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, <br />State of California, being a portion of Hays Street, as said <br />Street is shown on the Map of the Town of San Leandro, recorded <br />June 14, 1870 in Book 1 of Maps, at Page 19, Alameda County <br />Records, and being further described as follows: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the northwest line of Davis <br />Street with the southwest line of Hays Street, as said streets <br />are shown on the said Map of the Town of San Leandro; thence <br />along the said southwest line of Fays Street, north 28' west, <br />122.46 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: thence continuing <br />along the last said line, north 28' west, 65.00 feet; thence north <br />47' 06' 19" east, 31.66 feet to a point on a non -tangent curve, <br />concave to the east, having a radius of 153.00 feet (a radial line <br />of said curve to said point bears north 80° 16' 49" west); thence <br />southerly and southeasterly along the said non -tangent curve, through <br />a central angle of 30' 01' 57", a distance of 80.20 feet to the <br />TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />The above described parcel of land contains 717 square feet, more <br />or less. <br />
