IN THE Cl'rf COMIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. N.S. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANNEXATION OF SALT LEANDRO <br />INDUSTRIAL DI: Y RI.C`I' 9 A T T NO. 70 <br />(American Blower Corporation) <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on August 6, <br />1956, in response to the written petition of American Blower Corporation, <br />said Corporation being the owner of all of the territory proposed to be <br />annexed, passed its Resolution No. 2988 C.M.S. and thereby duly and regu- <br />larly initiated proceedings to annex the hereinafter described territory; <br />and <br />Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the <br />proposal for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property <br />to the City of San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the pro- <br />ponents thereof by the Alameda County Boundary Commission of the State of <br />California, with respect to the matters provided by law therefor; and <br />Whereas, said resolution specifically described the boundaries of <br />the territory so proposed to be annexed to this City; designated such ter- <br />ritory by an appropriate identification; contained a notice of the place, <br />hour, and day, not less than 15 nor more than 60 days thereafter, when and <br />where any person owning real property within such territory so proposed to <br />be annexed and having objections to the proposed annexation might appear <br />before this Council and show cause why such territory should not be so <br />annexed; declared that such proceedings were initiated in response to a <br />written petition therefor signed by the owners of said territory, repre- <br />senting all of the assessed value thereof; and <br />Whereas, the City Clerk of this City duly caused a copy of said <br />resolution to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, <br />in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City, to -wit: In <br />The Morning News on August 10 and 17, 1956, and also in a newspaper of <br />general circulation published outside of the City, but in the County in <br />which is located the territory proposed to be annexed, to -wit: In the <br />Inter-Ci.ty Express on August 10 and 17, 1956, each of which aforesaid pub- <br />lications was completed at least twenty days prior to the date set for the <br />hearing; and <br />
