any person owning real property within the boundaries of the hereinafter de- scribed territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause why such territory should not be annexed; That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property in general terms; That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is contiguous to the present boundary line of the City; That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed are specifically described as all that land situated in the Township of Eden, Alameda County, California, bounded as follows: Commencing on the southeastern line of First Avenue at the most northern corner of the territory annexed to the City of San Leandro by Ordinance No. 1103 N.S. and shown on the map delineating said territory filed December 16, 1957, in Book 40 of maps, page 15A, Alameda County Records, being also on the City of San Leandro boundary as established by Ordinance No. 758 N.S. and shown on the map delineating said boundary filed June 25, 1948 in Book 16 of Maps, page 42, Alameda County Records; thence northeasterly 351.89 feet, more or less, along the south- east line of First Avenue and City boundary to a corner of the territory annexed by said Ordinance No. 758 N.S., being the ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING; thence south 28' 00' east 993.66 feet along the southwestern line of said territory to the northwestern line of the territory an- nexed to the City of San Leandro by Ordinance No. 845 N.S. and shown on the map delineating said terri�oryA filed eda November 16, 1951 in Book 32 of Maps, page County Records; thence southwesterly 100 feet along the northwestern line of the last mentioned saidterritory; southeasternthence north 280 00' west 993•�feetto line of First Avenue; thence northeasterly 1.00 feet along the last mentioned line to the point of beginning. The above described parcel of land contains 2028 acres, more or less. That the City Clerk of the City of San Leandro is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be published at least once a week for two successive weeks prior to said 3d day of November, 1958, in "The Morning News," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of San Le- andro, and also in the "Inter -City Express," a newspaper of general IWM s
