IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE NO. 112' N.S. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANNEXATION OF SAN LEANDRO COMMERICAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 78 (Bayfair Extension) Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on February 25, 1958, in response to the written petition of Capital Company, a corpora- tion, said Corporation being the owner of all of the territory proposed to be annexed, passed its Resolution No. 3545 C.M.S. and thereby duly and regularly initiated proceedings to annex the hereinafter described terri- tory; and Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the proposal for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to the City of San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the pro- ponents thereof by the Alameda County Boundary Commission of the State of California, with respect to the matters provided by law therefor; and Whereas, said resolution specifically described the boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to this City; designated such territory by an appropriate identification; contained a notice of the place, hour, and day, not less than fifteen nor more than sixty days thereafter, when and where any person owning real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed and having objections to the pro- posed annexation might appear before this Council and show cause why such territory should not be so annexed; declared that such proceedings were initiated in response to a written petition therefor signed by the owners of said territory, representing all of the assessed value thereof; and Whereas, the City Clerk of this City duly caused a copy of said resolution to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City, to wit: In The Morning News on March 6 and 13, 1958, and also in a news- paper of general circulation published outside of the City, but in the - 1 -
