Section 3. The boundaries of the territory annexed are specifically <br />described as follows: <br />All that land situated in the Township of Eden, County of Alameda, <br />State of California, bounded as follows- <br />COMM- CING at the point of intersection of the direction <br />production northwesterly of the northeast line of the <br />Western Pacific Railway Company right of way, 80 feet <br />wide, as described in deed from Mathias Rosa Coehlo et <br />al to the Western Pacific Railway Company, recorded <br />November 26, 1906, Book 1266 of Deeds, page 127; Records <br />of Alameda County, California, with the west line of <br />Hesperian Boulevard, as said boulevard existed June 5, <br />1957, being on the City of San Leandro boundary line <br />as established by Ordinance No. 945 N.S. and as shown <br />on the map entitled, "MAP DELINEATING BOUNDARY OF TERRI- <br />TORY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, CA LIFORNIA, BY <br />ORDINANCE NO. 945 N.S. UNDER ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913,►r <br />filed October 8, 1954 in Book 32 of Maps, pages 38A, <br />39A, 40A, 41A, 42A and 43A, Records of Alameda County, <br />California; thence southeasterly along the said City <br />of San Leandro boundary line and said northeast line <br />of the Western Pacific Railway Company right of way to <br />its intersection with the north line of the parcel of <br />land described in deed from J. B. Ward, et a1, to <br />Wm. Knox recorded November 23, 1864 in Book "R" of <br />Deeds, page 86, Records of Alameda County, being the <br />ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING; thence easterly along the <br />last mentioned line, and said City of San Leandro <br />boundary line to the east line of the said Knox parcel; <br />thence southerly along the last mentioned line to the <br />said northeast line of the Western Pacific Railway <br />Company right of way; thence northwesterly along the <br />last mentioned line to the actual point of beginning. <br />The above described parcel contains 14 acres, more or <br />less. <br />Section 4. A new section to be known as Section 7-2-208 is hereby <br />added to Title VII, Chapter 2 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, to read <br />as follows: <br />"Section 7-2-208. On iJ_ 1' , 1958, by Ordinance No. 1_- <br />N.S., the San Leandro Commercial District, Unit No. 78 (Bayfair Extension) <br />was annexed to this City." <br />Section 5. The aforesaid property known as the San Leandro Commercial <br />District, Uni, No. 78 is hereby zoned as Light Commercial District or C-1 <br />District. <br />- 3 - <br />
