4. <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. N.S. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANNEXATION OF SAN LEANDRO <br />INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 81 <br />(Morris Draying Company) <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on January 18, 1960, <br />in response to the written petition of Morris Draying Company, :t,eing'the <br />sole owner of all of the territory proposed to be annexed, passed its Resolution <br />No. 14206 C.M.S. and thereby duly and regularly initiated proceedings to annex <br />the hereinafter described territory; and <br />Whereas, prior -co the filing of the above -mentioned petition, the proposal <br />for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to the City of San <br />Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponents thereof by the Alameda <br />County Boundary Commission of the State of California, with respect to the matters <br />provided by law therefor; and <br />Whereas, said resolution specifically described the boundaries of the territory <br />so proposed to be annexed to this City; designated such territory by an appropriate <br />identification; contained a notice of the place, hour, and day, not less than fif- <br />teen days nor more than sixty days thereafter, when and where any person owning <br />real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed and having objections <br />to the proposed annexation might appear before this Council and show cause why such <br />territory should not be so annexed; declared that such proceedings were initiated <br />in response to a written petition therefor signed by the sole owner of said property, <br />representing all of the assessed value thereof; and <br />Whereas, the City Clerk of this City duly caused a copy of said resolution to <br />be published at least `.,rice, but not oftener than once a week, in a newspaper of <br />general circulation published in the City, to wit: In THE MORNING NILWS on January <br />22 and 29, ':0, which aforesaid publication was completed at least twenty days <br />prior to the date set for the he, -.ring; and <br />Whereas, the City Clerk of this City also duly caused written notice of such <br />proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to whom land within the territory <br />
