IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. C.E.S. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TIME FOURTEENTH DAY OF JANUARY, 1958, PERTAINING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CHABOT AREA TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO Whereas, by Resolution No. 3412 C.M.S., the City Council of the City of San Leandro declared its intention to call a special election to be held on the fourteenth day of January, 1958, in certain inhabited territory contiguous to said City proposed to be annexed to said City, for the pur- pose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question whether or not said territory shall be annexed to said City; and Whereas, a copy of said resolution was published as required by law; and Whereas, no protests or objections to the proposed annexation of the Chabot Area to the City of San Leandro have been filed in the time, form, and manner~ as required by law, or at all; and whereas, no supplemental protests against the .lection were filed within ten (10) days after the time set for hearinc objecti^,ns to the election, or at all; and Whereas, all proceedings have been had in accordance with said reso- lution and the Annexation Act of 1913, reference thereto hereby being made for further particulars - Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: Section 1. A special election hereby is called to be held on the fourteenth day of January, 1958, in the territory hereinafter described and proposed to be annexed to the City of San Leandro, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the ques- tion whether or not such territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in, and made, a part of said City of San Leandro, and whether or not the pro- perty in said territory shall, after such annexation, be subject to tax- ation, equally with the property within the City of San Leandro, to pay
