PETITION FOR THE A \';VEXATION OF CHABOT AREA <br />ib THE HONOREIBLE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />Gentlemen: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the State <br />of California, herein designated and referred to as the "Annexation Act of <br />1913", and amendments thereto, the undersigned, being not less than one- <br />fourth in number of the qualified electors residing in the following de- <br />scribed territory, as shown by the registration of voters of Alameda County, <br />hereby petition your Honorable Body and ask that said territory hereinafter <br />described be annexed to the City of San Leandro. <br />Your petitioners request that the question to be submitted to the elec- <br />tors residing in the territory proposed to be annexed shall be, whether such <br />territory shall be annexed to the City of San Leandro, and the property in <br />the ;territory subjected to taxation after annexation, equally with property <br />within the City of San Leandro, to pay the banded indebtedness of the City <br />of San Leandro for the acquisition, construction, or completion of municipal <br />improvements outstanding or authorized at the date of the first publication <br />of the notice of election. <br />The territory herein referred to is all that land situated in the Town- <br />ship of Eden, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br />
