<br />petition relating to annex4tion of
<br />certain inhabited territory to the
<br />City of Sap Leandro, under the'
<br />Annexation' Act of 1913, . hereby
<br />give notice of intention to circu-
<br />late said petition in the County
<br />of Alameda; The territory sought
<br />to be annexed is designated as
<br />"Chabot Area" and is described
<br />as follows:

<br />PROPOSED PETITION
<br />If said territory described in
<br />the notice of intention to circulate
<br />petition, which notice this state-
<br />avent accompanies, becomes an-
<br />nexed to the City of San Leandro,
<br />the inhabitants of the territory
<br />proposed to be annexed will be
<br />afforded:
<br />1. Adaquate zoning protection.
<br />2. Reduced fire insurance rates.
<br />3. Reduced natural gas rates.
<br />4. Better Police protection.
<br />6. Become residents of a well ,
<br />established City which has a
<br />large industrial section which
<br />insures a firm and very ade
<br />yuate assessed valuation on -
<br />which. adequate tax revenue
<br />may be raised In order to suc-
<br />cessfully operate a city with-
<br />out forcing hardships upon,
<br />anyone.
