IN 7HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. C.M.S. <br />A. 1;.E5OLUTION GIVING CONSENT TO COMMENCEMENT OF <br />PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION OF CEiADOT AREA <br />Whereas, L. D. Royalp et al have requested permis3ton to commerce pro- <br />ceedings ,for the annexation of Chabot Area and improved inhabited ares, to <br />the City of San Leandro, and <br />Whereas, such request has been referred to the City Planning Commis <br />s5 ony and <br />Whereas, said Planning Commission, after due and regular proceedings <br />thereon, has found that private buildings located in the Chabot Area were <br />constructed to the same standards and subject to the same type of construc- <br />tion as buildings constructed at approximately the same time within the City <br />of San Leandro, that said area is generally free of building nonconformities, <br />that 70 per cent of the buildings in said area were built to electrical stand- <br />ards comparable to electrical standards of the City of San Leandro, that the <br />electrical systems of homes in said area conform to minimum Code requirements <br />of the City of San Leandro, that there is a lack of adequate curb, gutter, <br />drainage, sewer and sidewalk improvements, and that fire protection facili- <br />ties in said area are inferior to fire protection facilities in the City of <br />San Leandro, and has therefore recommended that consent be given as required; <br />and <br />Whereas, the Planning Commission has recommended that said area be <br />annexed to the City of San Leandro. <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the. City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows, - <br />That consent is hereby given to the commencement of proceedings for the <br />annexation of Chabot Area to the City of San Leandro. <br />Be <br />
