IN THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN L.EANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING ZONING DISTRICTS IN CHABOT AREA <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro did on April 29, <br />1957 refer to this Planning Commission the matter of reporting on the Chabot <br />Area, an accurate legal description of which territory is on file in the of- <br />fice of the City Clerk, and to make recommendations concerning the annexation <br />of the area; and <br />Whereas, at a special meeting of the Planning Commission duly and regu- <br />larly called for and held on this 22nd day of May, 1957, evidence pertaining <br />to the zoning character and use of the Chabot Area, both oral and documen- <br />tary, was presented and the hearing closed, the Planning Commission being <br />fully advised in the premises, now finds: <br />That the Chabot Area is wholly first residential in character and use, <br />except that one parcel of land therein is devoted to first commercial use, <br />which parcel of land is described as follows, to -wit: <br />All that land situated in the County of Alameda, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point on the City of San Leandro boundary <br />as established by Ordinance No. 560 N.S., said Ordinance No. <br />560 N.S. being a quasi -record in the office of the City Clerk <br />for the City of San Leandro, said point of beginning being on <br />the northwest line of Estudillo Avenue, as said avenue existed <br />May 22, 1957, said point of beginning being the beginning of a <br />curve concave to the northeast and having a radius of 25 feet; <br />thence northwesterly along the arc of said curve 42.18 feet to <br />a tangent line, said tangent line being the northeast line of <br />MacArthur Boulevard as it existed May 22, 1957; thence north 12 <br />degrees 18 minutes west a distance of 357.50 feet, thence north <br />70 degrees 30 minutes east a distance of 52 feet, thence north <br />71 degrees 30 minutes east a distance of 57.79 feet, thence <br />north 12 degrees 31 minutes west a distance of 351.26 feet, <br />thence north 71 degrees 2 minutes east a distance of 74.34 <br />feet to the point of beginning. <br />Now, therefore, the Planning Commission of the City of San Leandro <br />does RESOLVE as follows: <br />-1- <br />
