REPORT AND RECOM1--E iDAIION NO. 619 <br />OF <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY BOUNDARY COMMISSION <br />To the Board of Supervisors <br />ity of Alameda <br />°t House <br />UaKland 12, California.. <br />Gentlemen: <br />?-IIEREAS, there was submitted to the Alameda County Boundary Commission on March 8, 1960, <br />a proposal from A. S. Holmes & Son, Inc. to annex to, and detach from, the Cities of Oakland <br />and San Leandro., certain territory, known as Holmes =-iex, and <br />wIIER.r;AS., the Alameda County Boundary Commission did at its meeting of. March 2L) 1960, <br />give consideration to such proposal and did compare the proposed change in the boundaries of <br />said District ;rith those of other districts within the County and ascertained the extent to <br />which overlapping or conflicting boundaries may result from such proposal, and did consider <br />all other factors in connection with such proposal that might be inimical to the public <br />interest. <br />NOW, TWHI EFORr, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the report and recommendation of the Alameda <br />County Boundary Corrission with respect to the proposal from A. S. Holmes & Son, Inc. to <br />annex to, and detach from, the Cities of Oakland and San Leandro, certain territory, known <br />as Holmes Anne: <br />1. That the map and the description of the lands bf� corrected to read as corrected <br />in red on the attached map and description. <br />2. That petitioner give consideration in his proposal to the provisions of Section <br />3530�', of the Government Code. <br />3. That petitioner give consideration to the inclusion in his proposal of the remain- <br />ing portion of the parcel currently assessed to Robert Scott Holmes, which portion <br />measures 30 feet by 129.09 feet on the northwesterly side . <br />4. That petitioner give consideration to the inclusion in his proposal of that portion <br />of Doolittle Drive which lies adjacent to this proposed annexation. <br />5. That the revenue disTricts lying within the boundaries o" the above -mentioned <br />proposed annexation are as follows: <br />a. Oakland City Tax District No. 2 <br />b. San ',eandro Unified School District - Basic 4rea <br />c. Oakland High School District Bonds No. 2 and 3. <br />d. County Flood Control and Water Conservation District - Basic Area <br />e. Alameda -Contra Costa Transit Distrioi - Basic Area <br />f. Alameda -Central Costa Transit district - Special Transit Service District lido. 1 <br />g. San Francisco Bey Area Rapid Transit District <br />h. last >a, F-u- .cipal "tility District <br />i. Bay Area Air Pollution Control District <br />j. Eden Towns'Up Hospital District <br />k. That the Clerk of the BO ndaxy Commission be directed to file this report with <br />the Board of Supervisors and to furnish a copy thereof to A. S.
