C,M�S, <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT TO THE DETACHMENT OF CER- <br />TAIN LAND FROM THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR ANNEXATION <br />TO THE CITY OF OAKLAND <br />RECITALS-. <br />The City of Oakland, a mi-micipal corporation, acting by and <br />through its Board of Port Commissioners, acquired the hereinafter <br />described real property by a certain Agreement and Conveyance <br />dated October 20, 1947, and ever since has been and now is the fee <br />title owner thereof. <br />Said real property is situate in the City of San Leandro but <br />is surrounded on three sides by lands within the City of Oakland. <br />There is no freeholder within the hereinafter described <br />territory which is now situate within the boundaries of the City <br />of San Leandro other than the Board of Port Commissioners of the <br />City of Oakland, that said Board of Port Commissioners consents to <br />the detachment of said real property from the City of San Leandro <br />so that the same may be annexed to the City of Oakland. <br />The Board of Port Commissioners, on December 6, 1954, adopted <br />its Resolution No, B 4113 entitled: <br />"Resolution Petitioning the City Council of the <br />City of San Leandro to Consent to the Detachment <br />of Certain Land from the City of San Leandro for <br />Annexation to the City of Oakland" <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 35304 of the Government Code <br />of the State of California: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro <br />does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That this City Council, being the legislative body of the <br />City of San Leandro, hereby finds that all of the foregoing recitals <br />are true and that it has received the consent of at least two-thirds <br />of the freeholders, to -wit.- the consent of the sole freeholder within <br />said territory to detachment of said territory from the City of San <br />Leandro; and be it further <br />RESOLVED, that this City Council hereby gives consent to the <br />detachment of the hereinafter described property, being the property <br />hereinbefore referred to from the City of San Leandro so that the <br />same may be annexed to the City of Oakland. <br />Said property so proposed to be detached from the City of San <br />Leandro, is all that land situated in the City of San Leandro, <br />Alameda County, California, described as follows- <br />!�1m. <br />
